Location: Hydro – Tummel Workshop (Pitlochry, Perth and Kinross)
Salary: Starting at circa £12,000 plus a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing, and family. Salary upon finishing the apprenticeship is circa £32,00 per annum.
Working Pattern: Full Time.
About The Role
This Apprenticeship Programme offers you the chance to earn whilst you learn new skills.
This is a 4-year multi-craft (electrical and mechanical) programme, a combination of college academic study and work-based learning with approximately 18 months college and 30 months in a Hydro Power Station or on an Onshore Wind Farm. You’ll finish college with a NC Electrical and NC Mechanical and after moving to the workplace, you’ll work towards SCQF Level 7 Modern Apprenticeship in Asset Lifecycle and Maintenance. You will be trained in safety, engineering practice, electrical and mechanical maintenance.
You will be supported throughout your programme by a wide number of colleagues including mentors, Learning and Talent support staff and business operational colleagues. You will be provided with on-the-job training and supported by our academic training partners. Our apprentices attend college full time for the first 18 months of the programme, and you will be supported fully during this time.
