Modern Apprenticeships within Perth and Kinross Council as a career option for young people aged 16-19

Modern Apprenticeships within the Council give young people an opportunity to study towards an SVQ Level 2/3 while also gaining valuable work experience.  Young people who have completed Modern Apprenticeships increase their employability and the majority achieve a positive destination.

The criteria for Modern Apprentices are that applicants must be aged between 16-19 and live within the boundaries of Perth & Kinross.  Job specific criteria will vary, however, the majority of vacancies ask for applicants to have a minimum of core skills in communication and problem solving.  We also encourage applications from young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to apply and The Hub, 31-33 South Street, Perth can provide support completing applications and interview techniques.
