In June 2024, a group of S3-S5 Breadalbane Academy pupils will be visiting Krakow in Poland. During their trip, they will meet with a Holocaust survivor, tour the city of Krakow, visit Auschwitz Concentration Camp, and reflect on the lessons that can be learned from history.

In preparation for the trip, the pupils have arranged a sponsored activity to help fundraise towards the cost of this experience. Each participant will choose a pursuit (running, walking, cycling, rowing, swimming, etc) to complete a distance of 40 miles by the end of March. Together, this will equate to 1000 miles, the approximate distance from Aberfeldy to Krakow.
