The pupils and staff at Breadalbane Academy organised the annual Burns Supper on 31st January 2014. One hundred people attended the event at Moness Country House. Moness kindly supported this event by providing the venue, including full use of the kitchens, function suite and staff! Pupils in the hospitality group at Breadalbane cooked and served the haggis, neaps and tatties. The Breadalbane Ceilidh Band provided the music and the S6 pupils delivered the speeches and entertainment. The school charities committee decided the chosen charity for this year would be Aberlour Child Care Trust. They rallied around local businesses to secure some outstanding raffle prizes. The school would like to thank everyone that donated a prize, in particular Moness Country House for their kind generosity. Through sale of tickets and the raffle, the event raised £1555.59 for Aberlour.
