Exclusive Invitation for Year of Young People Ambassadors and young people who are interested in co-producing Perth and Kinross YOYP 2018.
Alesha Dixon is headlining Perth’s Christmas Lights Switch on in Perth on Saturday, the 18th of November and would like to meet you and talk to you about our YOYP Signature Event: Diverse CiTay.
We will be discussing what diversity means to Alesha and to young people in Perth and Kinross, and your YOYP Communic18 rep, Siusaidh, will give you an update on YOYP 2018 and the Diverse CiTay Event.
We will have some time to talk to Alesha about her career and her experiences or any other subject that is of interest.
It is a small event and only the first 60 young people to confirm can come along, so if interested we need your name and contact details as soon as possible and by Midnight on Wednesday the 15th at the latest.
Event Details
The Audience with event will take place in Perth City Centre at 8.45 p.m. Location and access details will be confirmed when I confirm your place.
You must be between the ages of 8 and 26 to attend.
If you are under 16, your parents can drop you off at 8.45 p.m. and return for you at 9.30 p.m.
Priority will be given to young people who are:
- YOYP ambassadors
- Working on a youth programme or co-producing with Horsecross Arts, Perth College UHI, or Culture Perth and Kinross
- A young person active with equalities groups such as the Perth Young Carers, Glow or similar.
If we have too more people than spaces we will do a draw.

Notes
Perth and Kinross is holding a Signature Event for YOYP 2018 and this will take place in June 2018 in Perth.
This event is called Diverse CiTay and is being produced by young people for young people.
The event will celebrate all that is great about youth culture and diversity and we would like you to come along and hear about our plans and tell us how you would like to be involved.
