» Modern Apprenticeship Event

Perth & Kinross Council are hosting drop in sessions at The Hub for young people aged 16-24 and their parents or guardians. The free sessions will give young people the opportunity to:
  • Speak to the professionals who can provide career advice and support;
  • Apply for a Modern Apprenticeship vacancy;
  • Learn how to make the best use of social media when applying for jobs;
  • Find out about the Council’s employment Hub and its services;
  • Speak to current Modern Apprentices and hear about their experiences;
  • Create an alert on My Job Scotland, the Council’s e-recruitment portal;
  • Learn about Perth & Kinross Council’s fantastic training, support and career opportunities and much more.
 The Council will be recruiting Modern Apprentices in Business & Administration in the following Service areas during August:
North Inch Campus Campus, Perth
Community School of Auchterarder
Perth Academy, Perth
Pullar House, Perth
York Place, Perth
Carpenter House, Perth
The local authority is an ideal organisation for a young person to learn, earn, train and develop.   We hold the Gold Award from Investors In Young People in recognition of the quality of the learning and development opportunities we provide our young people, including a great success rate in finding employment.
The drop in sessions will take place on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th August from 3pm to 5pm at the Hub, 31-33 South Street, Perth, PH1 8PD. Booking is not necessary. Please share details of the event with family and friends.
